Rootsteps will permanently switch to Webflow as of June 1, 2024!

So big news at Rootsteps! From 1 June 2024, the time has really come. We are definitely taking the plunge and are fully transitioning to Webflow as a go-to platform for all websites. This means that we're saying goodbye to our old familiar October CMS - a platform where we've experienced really great developments since 2017. Both commercially and in personal developments. This is a great moment, because Webflow's strength lies in exactly what you want as a website owner.

Why this change?

First of all, Webflow offers us a whole range of benefits that take our work to the next level:

1. Usability: Webflow has an intuitive interface that allows us to build responsive websites quickly and visually.
2. Powerful visual editor: With the visual editor, we can easily let our customers go wild on their website and see changes in real time as they work.

Why not both?

October CMS is a powerful platform to work with. But it requires separate processes that are very expensive, a separate design process, a separate development process in code that only the biggest nerds can read. The implementation. Code stack fixes. And if the customer wants something different, the whole process starts again...

In addition, maintaining multiple systems costs knowledge, time and money that we (and our customers) would much rather see reflected in their own website and the resulting turnover. With this step, Rootsteps is competitive and we can really do what we are good at: creating self-optimizing custom websites for all sectors. 🎉

We believe that this change will help our customers to keep evolving and to make the websites as optimal as possible at any time and in any place you look: OctoberCMS customers have therefore received a proposal to go to Webflow at highly discounted rates.
